  • Paul Schwennesen

  • Co-founder & Director of Operations

Paul Schwennesen is a southern Arizona rancher and director of the Agrarian Freedom Project. Paul holds a Master’s degree in Government from Harvard University and dual Bachelor’s degrees – history/sciences (Biology) – from the Air Force Academy. He is a featured blogger at the Huffington Post and regular contributor to the Property and Environment Research Center. His writing has appeared in The New York Times, American Spectator, Stockman Grass Farmer, and in a textbook on environmental ethics published by Oxford University Press.

He and his wife, Sarah, are raising three kids in a decidedly centralized, top-down environment. Paul has a passion for his work, which focuses on innovative strategies to leverage free markets for the preservation of healthy, working landscapes.

  • Davis Graves

  • Co-founder & Director of Sustainability

Davis Graves is a young entrepreneur dedicated to finding solutions to sustainability problems through smarter design intentions, future-oriented thinking, and effective commingling of environmental and economic priorities. Davis began his education at Arizona State University in its distinguished Physics program, but after a semester of soul-searching became a pioneering student at the University’s recently created School of Sustainability. Graduating Summa Cum Laude, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sustainable Energy, Materials, & Technology, and a minor in Economics.

Davis is passionate about traveling, graphic design, cycling, and playing music (he grew up in a family band, after all!). He is proud to be involved with a company that is unfailing in its drive to increase public awareness and support for sustainable ranching practices.
